I build thoughtful technology for complex, human problems.
Hi! I’m Avni, a software engineer studying Information Science at UC Irvine and minoring in Health Informatics. My work sits at the intersection of AI, full-stack development, and human-centered design.
I’m especially interested in building technology that makes complicated systems easier to understand and use. This has led me to create AI-powered healthcare applications, hospitality tools, learning experiences, and environmental data projects, always with the people using them at the center of the process.
Across my industry and research experience, I’ve built and deployed full-stack applications using React, REST APIs, SQL databases, cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and data-processing workflows. My experience spans reusable front-end architecture, back-end integration, ETL development, database design, and production deployment. My UI work covers the full product lifecycle, from understanding the target audience and defining user flows to designing the interface and implementing it as a responsive, accessible, production-ready product. I translate technical requirements and stakeholder needs into scalable systems that are reliable, intuitive, and ready for real-world use.
I’m drawn to work where software can create meaningful impact, particularly in AI, healthcare, and accessible technology.
